This is a game design for for Pussy hunter, created by Silly Vanillies.
Concept
Premise
You’re an old granny who hates the people in her neighbourhood but has a huge heart for cats. There are a lot of stray (and not so stray) cats in her neighbourhood, so she decides to collect them all and give them a home, which drives her to overcome any obstacles, be it people, physical obstructions or law.
Target Audience
Cat lovers, young adults.
USP
Kitty collecting. Unusual main character (a very agile granny). Gameplay mix.
Story
Character
A small, old, lovely looking granny who is commonly underestimated. She turns out to be extremely acrobatic and agile, morally grey and pretty unhinged. Her hits are surprisingly powerful, they can take out grown men.
Conflict
The police, cat-owners and citizens in general.
Outcome
- Victory: you now own every cat in the neighbourhood
- Defeat: you get caught by the police and go to jail forever
Gameplay
Objective
Maneuver through the neighbourhood, save cats and keep people off your back using unusual escape routes and your walking cane. Don’t get caught by the police, taken down or lose the cat. Collect all the cats scattered across the neighbourhood, unlock new breeds and fulfill their basic needs.
Core-Rules
Don’t wake the dog/distract any guard dogs. Don’t get caught by the police. Don’t make the neighbours suspicious. No witnesses. Don’t die. Kitty is top priority. There are no (law-related) rules
Procedures
Abilities of the player: interact with environment, find ways to overcome obstacles, hit opponents with your stick.
Main base: you can see the collected cats in the background, click on them to name them, clean them, feed them, give them love etc.
Level based, you unlock new levels/new areas of the neighbourhood by completing previous levels. New levels will include new cat breeds and fur colours.
