Concept
You are a soldier that serves in a wartime conflict. The setting is abstract, defined by no time or location. After the bombing you were taken hostage by the enemy and must infiltrate the enemy base to find communication back home.
Mechanics
You lost almost all of your hearing. All audible noise is muffled, including speech. As you observe the lips of people, you can hear their dialogue clearly and subtitles will form. (subtitles were already visible before, though they become visible the longer you look at the lips).
