"If I was a bird, I know who I'd shit on" is a bird simulation game by Doodling Dodos, produced for Game Production.

In this game you play a flying bird that eats/steals food and shits on people to relieve your hatred for humans.

Vision Statement

In "If I Was A Bird ..." you can finally live your dreams. That one boss that annoys you, your mother telling you to clean your room or perhaps some grandma that has once again criticized you over nothing: now you can drop your poop on them. Fly around as a bird of your choosing through three distinct levels and find your shitting targets. You can scavenge for food or steal it to fill your stomach. That way you fill your poop bar to cause mayhem wherever you are. Fly high birdies!

Game Mechanics

Controls:

With WASD, you control the basic movement of the flying bird, and the camera depending where your mouse is facing. If the bird comes into contact with food that the humans are holding in their hands or that is lying on the ground, the hunger bar fills up. When the first border of the bar is reached, it has the ability to empty its stomach (and aim at the humans). The bar empties at the same time. However, if he continues to eat and the bar reaches the second border, he can discard even greater poo.

Sometimes, people throw rocks at the bird. He can evade them with skilled motion control or get hit and lose a heart. If all hearts are gone, the game is over.

Changing Levels:

The bird first spawns in a city, where he can find lots of food in trash cans, on the floor or on humans. If the bird dirtied a certain amount of people with his shits, he then gets to the next level which is a beach-themed area. There, even more food can be found because there are more humans that dirty the area with trash and leftover food. After reaching an even greater number of hitting people with shits, the bird transfers to the third and last level. In the third level, where he is surrounded by wild nature, food is more difficult to find, and consequentially, it's harder to poo. However, there are some humans camping in the woods that have food with them. If he manages to shit on all of them, the level is cleared.

Level Design

Story

There was once a bird who just wanted to chill, eat and fly around free and untamed. But there was a problem: humans. They called it mean names, installed bird control spikes everywhere so it couldn’t sit on rooftops without puncturing its buttocks, and threw trash at the poor guy! Even the nice elderly in the park who had fed it consistently in the past turned to shoo it away. In general, it was not a good time to be a bird anymore. Eventually, all of the injustice and insults became too much to bear for the little guy. So, he decided to just shit on them.

This will be evident in a small cutscene at the beginning of the game to convey to the player why the bird decided to shit on the people.
