Vision Statement

You play as a cat left alone at home, whose sole purpose in life is destroying everything within sight. Don’t wake up the puppy though, or you will be loved very aggressively.

Spielemechaniken

There is no real way to “win” the game. The goal is to beat your own highscore. You lose the game if the dog wakes up and catches you.

The dog will wake up if the player makes a really loud noise while making a mess. As long as the dog is awake the player has to hide in order not to get caught. The player can attack all smaller objects, resulting in knocking them over. They can also interact with many larger objects around the apartment (see section Level Design).

The main controls are move, jump, crouch, attack.

Story

When Agatha, your sweet elderly owner, leaves home to enjoy tea with her girlfriend, it is your time to unleash chaos in your home and destroy everything. As a mischievous cat, your mission is simple: cause as much chaos as possible before Agatha returns! Knock over plants, shred the curtains, and send fragile heirlooms crashing to the floor. But beware – Luna the family dog is napping. Be careful not to wake her up or she’ll smother you with sloppy affection. And you HATE love. Quickly now, little menace, time is ticking …

The main Characters:

Cat (Player): very angry, chaotic, mischievous cat; fat orange cat by default, other skins to unlock (black cat, calico, …)

Dog (Luna): very happy dog with too much love to give, asleep by default; if cat wakes her up Luna will attack the player with love.

Owner (Agatha): nice elderly lady; left home to drink tea with her lovely girlfriend

Level Design

A small apartment of an old lady and her girlfriend. Living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom.

Navigate through the apartment and use your environment to cause chaos. There is limited time to wreak havoc untill the owner returns and the game ends. The time is displayed by a timer on the screen. The player gets points for the amount and severity of chaos they produce. Collect these chaos points to compete with other players' highscores and unlock new skins for the cat. If you wake the dog, the game ends and you lose.

Examples for environment interactions:

- push a cup of liquid over your owner's computer - slice up the curtains - spread kitty litter in the apartment - push over potplants and shatter their pots - put metal in the microwave to blow it up - press a button to puke up balls of hair - destroy the tv - scratch up the couch - commit a fridge-heist - kick over your foodbowl etc.
