The player has to make desicions throughout the game. The desicions influence the siblings relationship.

Anyone from 16 years up that is interested in a narrative experience.
Premise
You are a 16 year old teenager and because of your difficult parents you decide to pack your bag and run away with your little 8 year old sister. You live on the streets in a new city and you have to survive somehow.
Objectives
The player has to reach the end of the game. The game results in 3 different endings. You can't lose, but you can have a bad ending.
Gameplay
Ressources
There are resources (eg. key) that the player gets based on the interactions with NPCs and the arising conflict. The player also finds a phone early on that he uses to take picture of important clues, take notes, call or text someone and use the map.
Character
The protagonist is Simon. He is very protective over his younger sister Emily as they try to survive together.
Game Look
Der visuelle Stil vom Runaway: Far From Home soll gezeichneten Stil. Jedes Level hat eigene Umgebung. Düstere Gassen der Innenstadt, Hauptplatz, das Weisenhaus, die Stadtumgebung, sowie durchlauf durch die Wälder und Felder nähe der Stadt.

Game Interface
Das Interface für das Game Runaway: Far From Home sollte sehr simpel gestaltet werden. Nichts sollte vom Spielgeschehen und von der Story ablenken. Jedoch gibt es die Standart Menütaste - "Esc" die das Game pausiert und das Menü Interface einblendet, mit folgenden Buttons: Speichern, Laden, Audio, Video, Tastenbelegung, Spiel beenden. Es gibt spezielle Tastenbefehle, die man nach belieben einstellen kann und zwar das ziehen vom Handy mit Notizen. Extra Tasten mit denen man die Kamera aufrufen kann und damit Fotos für die Galerie Speichern kann.
